Okay, this whole blog thing is new to me, so I've entitled this post beginnings. This blog marks the beginning of my blog posts and this class marks the beginning of new learning. Every single day marks the beginning of new experiences.
OK, so enough with the philosophical talk - I love literature. I love to read it, write about it and study it. Reading was and still is one of my favorite hobbies. I still read for recreational purposes although the stories usually have stars, hearts, puppies, kittens or Dr. Seus in them. I am trying to pass on my love of reading and writing to my children. They are not old enough to understand the purpose, but they do love the pictures and the attention they receive from me through reading. It may very well be their most favorite part of the day.
Hmmmm... I am looking forward to reading and learning in this class. I wish I could think of more to blog about, but I am sure, with time, I will write more than my share of blog entries and talk about things I never imagined I would talk about.
One thing I need to do that I keep putting off is starting a journal. Not just a journal about myself, but a journal for my kids. If I make time to blog here, hopefully I will take that initiative and blog about other things in my life.
